This webcam is located in Melbourne, one of the largest cities of Australia. This city, with its unique mixture of modern buildings and historical monuments, is very different from other places. Our webcam shows the famous Federation Square, opened after renovation works in 2002.

Federation Square is a cultural core of the entire Australian state of Victoria. This is a major venue for different concerts, festivals and shows. Our webcam captures the outstanding building of the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, the Forum Theatre with a clock tower and the Concert Hall.
From the Flinders Street Station, located right close to the Federation Square, you can easily get to the suburbs of the city by rail.

Southbank, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of Melbourne, lies on the southern bank of the Yarra River, just on the other side of the beautiful Princess Bridge. The most interesting touristic spots in this area are Hamer Hall and Art Center. Visitors of beautiful Melbourne can at any time enjoy a nice walk in one of the wonderful city parks. On this side of the river they can choose between, for example, Queen Victoria Gardens, Alexandra Gardens and Royal Botanic Gardens of Melbourne.
