Dorfgastein. Panorama of the Resort from Mount Fulsek

We can see another resort of the large Austrian complex, Amade, presented on our website. It is located on Mount Fulsek, at the foot of which is located the village of Dorfgastein.

From here, the web of trails descends to the village, mostly easy and medium, but there are also black runs. The camera, set at an altitude of 2,033 meters, shows the Alpine panorama from the south to the north. We can see trails running from the top of the mountain to the village of Unterberg, and an artificial mountain reservoir towering over Dorfgastein.

The path of ‘Barefoot’ stretches around the pond. Most of the ski slopes in these mountains are laid between thick mountain forests, so tourists are protected from strong winds, which makes skating more comfortable.

All major resort hotels are located next to the Dorfgastein Gipfelbahn Fulseck Talstation lift station, with room rates that vary greatly depending on the distance between the hotel and the ski lift. For example, in Landhaus GASTEIN you can stay for 75-80 euros, whereas in the center of Dorfgastein, hotels are much cheaper, about 50 euros (smartHOTEL).
