Grossarl. Hochbrandbahn Station

We are leaving for the northern part of the resort, Großarl Unterberg. The Hochbrandbahn cableway is built there. This is the first part of the way to Kreiskogel. To get to the highest route, you will have to change to other lifts several times.

Hochbrandbahn is a comfortable eight-seater cabin elevator, produced by Doppelmayr. It was opened in 2006 and unloaded the rest of the ski lifts in Großarl resort. The length of this cableway is more than 1 kilometer, and the speed of the cabins is about 6 meters per second. Thus, you will rise to the top station in only 3.5 minutes. The difference in altitude between the lower and upper stations is 432 meters.

After you have climbed to the top station of this cableway, you can either go higher on the Harbachbahn lift or go down one of the routes. On the screen, we can see a rollout from tracks 5a RSLRodelberg and 3b Familien.
