Hirschegg. Ifen Bergbahn & Lifte Funicular

The Ifen ski area of the Oberstdorf / Kleinwalsertal Bergbahnen is located above Hirschegg and the slopes of Mount Heuberg. Experienced skiers come here. We can see the first section of the tracks. It is served by the Ifenbahn funicular. If you want more, then go to the top of Hoer Ifen. From a height of 2 kilometers above sea level, you can go through the most spectacular routes of the resort.

In 2017, Ifen underwent a large-scale reconstruction, during which the old lifts were improved, new cableway stations were built, and some interesting routes for the most demanding attendants were laid. You can find more information on the interactive map of the resort. Ifen needs some modernization, as skiers have been coming here for more than 50 years. Financial investments of 23 million euros will attract a huge flow of tourists soon.

In the upper left part of the screen, we can see the peak of Hoer Ifen, located at 2,230 meters above sea level. It towers 150 meters over the resort. On the south side of the cliff is a popular climbing area.
