Klösterle. Riedkopf Station
Mount Riedboden, in the ski resort of Klösterle, is an intermediate mark on the way to the most spectacular ski resorts. The camera is installed on the top station of the Riedkopfbahn cableway, built in 2011 by Doppelmayr. We are at an altitude of 1,960 meters above sea level, but if you go to the southwestern part of the resort, you can get another 336 meters higher.
The Riedkopfbahn is well suited for beginners because the trails under it have an easy or medium difficulty. The difference in altitude between the lower and upper station of this cableway is only 166 meters. At the top station, tourists can visit the mountain restaurant, Muttjöchle.
The rotary camera shows us most of Riedkopfbahn, as well as the high mountain peaks of the Lechquellengebirge massif, located on the opposite side of the Klostertal Valley. When the camera looks to the east, other ski areas of the Klosterle Resort can be seen, including Mount Glattingrat, next to which is the Glattingratbahn cableway. The upper station of this lift is built even higher than the peak of Glattingrat, at 2,296 meters above sea level, compared to the peak’s 2,273 meters.
