Lech. View from Flühenlift
The Austrian resort of Lech consists of several ski areas. This camera is installed on the eastern slope of the resort and shows us the panorama of the community, as well as the northwestern routes laid along the slopes of the Lechquellen Mountains (Lechquellengebirge).
On the screen, we can see a lot of structures located above the village, which are various guest huts and restaurants, built especially for tourists. For example, we can periodically see the four-star Cresta.Alpin.Sport.Hotel.
Flühenlift, from which we are looking at Lech, was built in 1964. It is enough to serve a small training course. More difficult routes are much higher. They are serviced by two cableways, Rüfikopfbahn I and Rüfikopfbahn II. Their upper stations are built at an altitude of 2,350 meters above sea level. It is interesting that these funiculars have been operating in the resort for several decades.
Rüfikopfbahn I continues its work in the summer months, when travellers come to conquer mountain peaks.
