Mölltaler Gletscher. View of Bad Gastein from Sharek Mountain

Sharek Mountain offers great views of the mountain pass on the border of the federal lands of Salzburg and Carinthia in Austria. Here is a popular ski resort, Mölltaler Gletscher, its lifts and trails are located directly behind the camera.

We are looking to the northeast, from the height of more than three kilometers above sea level, in the direction of Bad Gastein, famous throughout the world for its thermal springs, enriched with radon. On the way to the commune is another ski resort, Sportgastein.

To enjoy this wonderful view of the Alpine mountains, tourists need to use one of two chair lifts, Gletscher Jet or Sesselbahn 3000. This webcam is installed near the top stations of these cable ways.

There is a cross on top of Sharek. This is one of the alpine traditions, associated with the Catholic vision of the world.
