Mut is one of the many peaks of the Ötztal Alps. It is located close to another mountain popular with tourists, Festkogl. At the top is Hohe Mut cableway station, as well as a large mountain hut, Hohe Mut Alm, where you can have a tasty meal, celebrate a wedding or other major event.

Mut has a height of 2,670 meters above sea level, while Festkogol is almost 400 meters higher. Nevertheless, ski slopes in this part of Obergurgl are among the most difficult and, at the same time, most interesting ones.

The rotary camera displays high mountains on the opposite side of the Gurgl Valley, the mountain range along which the border of Austria and Italy runs, and also Hohe Mut II Station, built in 2007. The new cabin lift has made Mut accessible not only for skiers, but also for restaurant visitors wearing suits. They come to Hohe Mut Alm all year round to enjoy its cozy atmosphere and delicious Tyrolean dishes.

The restaurant is open in the evenings. Its bright lights are clearly visible from different parts of the resort.
