Rennweg am Katschberg. Goldfahrt Toboggan Run

Alpine resorts in Austria are not only ski slopes, but also summer tourist routes for bike tours and other outdoor activities. One of the most popular forms of summer entertainment in the Alpine mountains is considered to be sledging. Sledges here move along a pre-planned trajectory, on rails or gutters, so that the ride is safe for both adults and children.

The camera is installed in front of the Goldfahrt route, laid alongside the resort area and the lower station of the Gamskogel Express. In the right part of the image are the houses of the hotel complex, Landal Katschberg. Nearby, there are the high towers of the Ferienwohnung Katschberg Hotel, which is uncommon to the Alps.

Let’s return to fascinating toboggan runs. The cost of this attraction is € 5 per ride. When you pay for 4 rides, the 5th one is free. Children under 7 can’t ride alone. Goldfahrt works from the first week of June to the middle of September.
