Vienna. Panorama of the City from Kaisermühlen District

This camera is installed near the banks of the Danube and Reichsbrücke Bridge. It is considered the most famous bridge in the Austrian capital and was built in the 1870s. It was named after Crown Prince Rudolf. The bridge got its modern name in 1919, when Austria became a republic.

Reichsbrücke collapsed in 1976 and a new bridge was built only four years later. All this time, there were two temporary bridges for cars and trams. The subway started to operate later, in 1982.

In addition to the six-lane road, which you see on the screen, the first branch of the subway goes over the bridge, as well as pedestrian and bicycle paths.

On the opposite bank of the Danube, we can see a few sights of Vienna, such as the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and Prater Wien amusement park, with its famous Giant Ferris Wheel.
