Sozopol. Panorama of the City

On your screen is one of the resorts in the vicinity of the Bulgarian Burgas. We look at the quay of Sozopol from the highest point of the city. Like many coastal villages of Bulgaria, Sozopol was originally a fishing village. Everything changed in the twentieth century, when it became a resort.

Now, the resort has more than 600 restaurants, bars, discos and other entertainment facilities. Sozopol has a wide sandy beach and you can book one of the hotels on the seafront. Many of the accommodations are built on the rocky shores of Sozopol, which can be seen in the background.
