Churchill. Beluga

Thousands of belugas spend the summer months off the coast of the Canadian city of Churchill. They prefer to live in the Churchill River, not in the nearby Hudson Bay. The cameras allow to watch belugas swimming and being fed by PBI volunteers.

The Churchill River is more than 1,600 kilometers long, so belugas live only in a small part of it, in a wide mouth off the coast of the town of the same name. Churchill was founded in 1688, the majority of the population are indigenous people. Today, one of the main sources of income for many people is tourism, or rather ecotourism.

Travelers from all over the world come to the shores of the Hudson Bay to watch the life of polar bears and belugas. Most of all, tourists are surprised by a special prison for bears, in which highly dangerous bears that threaten the local population are kept.
