20 kilometers from the US border, a new cottage village, The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake, is being built. If you look closely at the image from a camera, mounted in front of the houses, that have already been built, it seems that the developer has found a win-win variant.

Lake Osoyoos is located in a picturesque place — between the mountains and hills, that protect the lake itself and the surrounding area from strong winds; not far away, there is a town, named after the reservoir, where residents of new houses will be able to spend their weekends or holidays; and, for many people, the biggest advantage is the proximity to the US state of Washington.
