Korčula. The Old Town. Big Revelin Tower

Korcula Island is considered the most beautiful island in Croatia. Washed by the sea, it is immersed in Mediterranean vegetation and century-old pines. Numerous buildings of last century towers add charm to the eponymous town of Korcula.

The webcam shows us a view of the old town. The main entrance through Revelin Tower is on the south side of the town. A wide stone staircase leads to it.

The staircase has replaced a medieval folding bridge. The emblems of Korcula rulers, from the middle and the second half of the last century, are on the tower. The preserved remains of defensive stone walls are adjacent to the tower. Korcula Island breathes with history.
