Križevci. Josip Juraj Strossmayer Square

The provincial town of Križevci is located 60 kilometers northeast of the Croatian capital. Despite the small number of the local population (11,000 people in total), Križevci is the second largest town in Koprivničko-križevačka županija.

The camera is installed in the center of the town at the intersection of Antun Gustav Matoš, Ban Josip Jelačić, and Josip Juraj Strossmayer. The square that we see is named after him. The online broadcast allows one to watch the traffic situation on the central roads of the town, as well as look at some architectural landmarks, such as the National Archives of Croatia. This state institution is located on the left, just behind the square.

On the square of Josip Juraj Strossmayer, one can often see fairs to which Croatian farmers bring their goods. On the days of town and national holidays, the square becomes the main place of attraction for the citizens.

The tourist center of Križevci and the parish church of St. Anne are adjacent to the square. The main attraction of the town is also located on Josip Juraj Strossmayer Street. We are talking about the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, which can be found north of the town center (the camera is directed to the south).
