Novalja. Dalmatinska Street

This webcam is located in Novalja, beautiful Croatian town on the island of Pag. The fifth largest island in the country, Pag lies in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea. Our webcam captures view over Dalmatinska Street and Alojzije Stepinac Square (the statue of this famous person can be seen in the very center of the picture).

Alojzije Stepinac is a quite contradictory person in the modern history of Croatia. He was a famous Catholic cardinal who, on one hand, was sentenced to 16 years in prison for forced conversions of Orthodox Serbs to Catholicism, and on the other hand beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1998.
