Poreč. The Old Town and The Euphrasian Basilica

This webcam is located in the historical center of the Croatian town of Porec. It shows the Old Town and the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica, which is the symbol of the town.

The Euphrasian Basilica is an episcopal complex, which consists of the basilica itself, a sacristy, a baptistery and the bell tower. For today, the Euphrasian Basilica is one of the best-preserved examples of early Byzantine architecture in the whole Mediterranean.

It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997.
