Sutivan. Pier
We are on the north side of the Croatian island of Brac in the town of Sutivan. The camera is installed at the city pier next to the central city area. Despite the fact that the local population is less than 1,000 people, Sutivan is crowded with visitors in the summer months. This is partly due to the cost of the hotel rooms at local hotels.
Judge for yourself. To the right of the camera is Castel Nonna Franka, where a four-person room costs 650 euros per week, in the high season, and the cheapest apartment, without the direct access to the beach, is 250 euros per week.
In the background is the tower of one of the churches, most of which are more than 400 years old! Sutivan was known as a major wine center in the past. At the beginning of the last century, about one million liters of wine were produced there, per year.
