Vodice. View over the Islands Tiajt and Prvic

Restaurant Makina Hangar, which lies in the Croatian village of Vodice, features a terrific view over the Adriatic Sea. While having your dinner, you can enjoy the view over the beautiful islands Tiajt and Prvić right from the comfortable summer terrace of this restaurant.

First official reminding about Prvić is dating back to the 15th-century. The island is a very popular tourist destination. It offers its visitors a huge variety of accommodation options (from cozy apartments to expensive villas) and interesting attractions, from architectural, such as ancient Roman churches, to cultural like concerts and art exhibitions. The island is also famous for being a birthplace of Fausto Veranzio, one of the inventors of the first parachute. The most prominent feature of the second island, Tiajt, is the huge metal cross on the highest peak, visible from kilometers away. Besides the islands of Tiajt and Prvić, we can as well observe the high hills of another nearby island called Zmajan.

Actually, the village of Vodice is famous not only for the beautiful local islands. It is a very old place, despite its small size. First, it was under the rule of Romans, and later a part of the Republic of Venice…Today Vodice has become a very popular destination for tourism.
