There are several small villages in the vicinity of Zagreb. The camera is mounted on the top of Sljeme, in the Medvednica mountain range. We are located on the territory of a natural park named after the mountain range. Along the mountain is the border of the administrative-territorial units of Croatia. In front of us is Zagreb County and Zagreb City is behind.
On the mountain, there are many tourist trails, as well as a high-grade road. The height of Sljeme is 1,033 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak of Medvednica. In 1973, there was a huge radio-television tower built, the antenna height of which is 169 meters.
At the foot of the mountain, we can see the towns of Oborovo Bistransko, Gornja Bistra, and Poljanica Bistranska. Next to these villages, there are also several interesting tourist places, such as Oršić Castle. The population of each of these villages is about 1,000 people.
