Zagreb. Trg Bana Josipa Jelačića

The square in Zagreb, where this web camera is installed, was named after the commander Josip Jelačić, who died for the independence of Croatia. His equestrian statue was erected here in 1866, but it was removed from the square by the authorities of the USSR. In the 1990s, the monument was returned to its place and it can now be seen in the center of the square.

At present, the square is a pedestrian area and only trams go slowly along it, from time to time. You can often see embracing couples there, as it’s a popular place for dating.
