Adrspach. The Road to the Lake
This webcam is located in the Czech Republic. What do we know about this wonderful country? First of all, it is famous worldwide for its beer. For the second, its capital city Prague is renowned as one of the most beautiful cities of the world with prevalence of Gothic architecture. The city’s main landmarks like the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert (or, simply, Saint Vitus Cathedral), the picturesque Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock on the building of the Old Town City Hall are among the most recognizable sites in the world and serve as symbols of Prague.
Actually, Prague is far from being the only interesting place for the visitors of the Czech Republic. Karlovy Vary, Brno and Pardubice — all are worth seeing as well. Their history and architecture combined with delicious local cuisine and beer promise unforgettable memories for everyone. Be sure, a one-week vacation is not enough when we talk about places like this.
For example, our current view is from the village of Adrspach. This settlement lies not far from the border with Poland. Adrspach is a very picturesque place with interesting history and several quite significant attractions, like the national nature reserve of the Adrspach-Teplice Rocks. These rocks are, to put it mildly, very unusual. They are opened for tourists, as well as the surrounding park. Tourists may use a number of marked paths, as well as try rock climbing, if they dare. You can get here both by car (2 hour-drive from Prague) and by rail.
By the way, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, a popular movie based on one of the Narnia books written by famous C.S. Lewis, was shoot here.
