You can see the town square of the northern Czech town of Krasna Lipa. The nearest German settlements are just two kilometers away, so it is not surprising that Germans used to live there. Their number was considerably reduced after the mass evictions in 1945. Then, the city’s population declined by almost half, to about 3,100 residents. The same number of people live there now.

The camera is installed on the tower of the church of St. Mary Magdalene. This church was built in the northern part of the square. The church is undoubtedly the main tourist attraction. It was built in the middle of the eighteenth century, in the baroque style. On the territory of the church, tourists can also see the beautiful cemetery chapel and the presbytery.

As you can see, the square has a few roads, which is not typical for European cities. In the buildings surrounding the square, there are hotels and cafes, as well as the tourist center Dům Českého Švýcarska.
