Malá Morávka. View of Mount Praděd

The Penzion Figura’s rotary camera faces Praděd Mountain. We can see the famous Praděd TV tower. It was erected on the site of the first wooden construction of a television transmitter. The 162-meter tower was built in 1983 and became a popular tourist destination. The restaurant and the observation deck offer stunning views of the mountains of the High Tatras, Malá Fatra and the Alps.

There used to be another interesting building on the mountain; it was an exact copy of German West Thuringia. Altwaterturm was a stone tower, in the old Gothic style, which was built on Praděd at the beginning of the last century.

Hotel Penzion Figura is very cheap, the rooms start at 20 euros. Just behind the hotel is one of the lifts of Praděd ski resort. A single ticket is valid for all the lifts.
