The Zachariáš Square can be indeed called “ the heart” of Telč. Telč is a Czech town, which was founded in the 13th century as a royal water fortress on the crossroads of merchant routes between Moravia, Bohemia and Austria. Almost all historical and architectural sights of the town are located on the main square.

The webcam shows one more potential point of interest —  the Marian Column. It stands in the upper part of the square and was built in the years 1716 - 1720.
