Tallinn. The Tammsaare Park

This webcam is located in the beautiful and charming city of Tallinn, the capital and largest city of Estonia.

The webcam captures view along the Viru Square, at the junction with the Mere Boulevard. It is located on the building of the Nordic Hotel Forum. Across the street, we can observe the Tammsaare Park, called after the famous Estonian writer Anton Hansen Tammsaare.

This beautiful park lies not far from the Old Town of Tallinn. Last time it was renovated before the 1980 Summer Olympic Games. This is one of the central parks of Tallinn and a popular place for recreation.

In the background, we can see the bell tower of the Saint John’s Church. Its construction began in 1862, and the church was opened already in 1867. The Saint John’s Church stands on the eastern edge of Freedom Square, and represents one of the most beautiful Gothic landmarks of the capital (and a very popular venue for classic music concerts).
