Hanko. Zoological Station Tvärminne

This webcam shows the zoological station Tvärminne, which belongs to the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences of University of Helsinki. Station was founded in the very beginning of the 20th century by one of the university professors.

Zoological station Tvärminne is a marine station situated at the entrance to the Gulf of Finland. It functions as a centre for biological research, environmental monitoring, and has high quality facilities for field courses and seminars.
