Helsinki. Department for Computer Studies of the University of Helsinki

We are now looking at one of the academic buildings of the University of Helsinki. It is called Exactum and it is occupied by the department for computer studies.

The University of Helsinki is the largest and the oldest university of Finland. It was founded in 1640 as the Royal Academy of Turku, but received its modern name after the declaration of independence of Finland in 1917.

Besides the department for computer studies (which moved to this building in 2004), Exactum hosts as well the faculty of mathematic and statistic.
