Pori. Yyteri Beach
The Finnish beach resort of Yyteri is located on the shore of the Bothnian Bay of the Baltic Sea. This area is popular mainly with local tourists because the weather on the beaches of Finland allows one to relax comfortably only a few months a year. The area and beach of Yyteri are in Pori, the eleventh largest city in the country.
The camera is installed in the Bikini Bar but you can also find a few other cafes and bars with cold drinks and unpretentious dishes on the beach. Guests of the resort can stay in either small or big hotels, such as Yyteri spa. It is interesting that the spa hotel welcomes guests in the winter months as well, as cross-country ski runs are laid directly on the coast.
The wide beach of Yyteri has a length of about six kilometers, which makes it one of the longest in the country and in all of Scandinavia. The beach is famous for its beautiful dunes, as well as areas for nudists. It should be noted that in all of Finland there are only two official nudist beaches, one of which is in the central part of Yyteri.
It is noteworthy that in 1965, the first ever Finnish concert of the legendary Rolling Stones took place in Yyteri.
