This webcam is situated in Saint-Malo and captures one of the city’s major tourist attractions — the Fort National.

This port city, located in the northwestern part of France, is famous for its history and perfectly preserved medieval fortifications. The Fort National is over three hundred years old. It was built in 1689 on a small tidal island just some few hundred metres from the walls of Saint-Malo and was supposed to serve as protection to Saint-Malo’s port from the sea.

Tourists are only allowed to visit Fort National at low tide and only during the summer period (from June to September).
