Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. Market Square

This webcam is located on one of the town squares of the charming French town of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. This place is famous for its local mines and, as a result, the Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines Mineral Show, an annual international fair on nature-related arts and mining products, which also takes place here.

This square has traditionally been one of the major venues for this festival. Covered with a clean row of white tents (more looking like snow caps of mountains), it fills full with voices of admiring visitors and curious tourists.
