If a German town’s name has a prefix “Bad,” it is most likely a resort. This is the status of Bad Salzuflen, whose panorama you can see on your screen. The first tourists appeared here in the beginning of the 19th century, when the thermal spring, Paulinenquelle, was discovered in the Salzhof district. The 63-meter deep well became a gold mine for the town.

The camera is located in the historic center of Bad Salzuflen, at Altstadt Palais Lippischer Hof. We can see only a part of the richest heritage of the town. Medieval houses and defensive structures, castles, churches, and parks can all be found in the resort.

It is interesting that, along with the health-improving complexes and sanatoriums, large medical institutions and rehabilitation centers are open in Bad Salzuflen. For example, in the northern suburb of Lietholz is the clinic of orthopedics and rheumatology, where pensioners from all over Germany come to improve their health.

We can see a lot of classical German buildings. They are half-timbered houses, which have become a real hallmark of any ancient town of Germany.
