Braunschweig. Panorama of the City

On the left, we can see the church of St. Catherine with its sharp spires and different architectural styles. The Roman foundation blends with the early Gothic base and Gothic bell towers. The most attentive viewers can see the Evangelical Church of St. Martini Kirche in the background.

On the right, we can see the Church of St. Andrew, which is unusual for the Brunswick. One of its towers is unique. It was built in the Baroque style. The first documentary evidence of St. Andrew’s Church dates back to 1290 and the first church appeared there in the middle of the twelfth century.

Another city attraction is in the background, it is the church of St. Peter.
