Bremen. The Shipyard on the Banks of the Weser

We can see the Weser River in Bremen. The camera is installed in Grohner Düne, an apartment complex, which dominates not only over the northern area of the city, but also over the whole Bremen. Built back in the 1970s, this complex almost immediately became the object of violent disputes about Bremen town planning policies, in fact almost all districts of the city are low-rise buildings.

On the opposite bank of the Weser are the buildings of ABEKING & RASMUSSEN Schiffs- und Yachtwerft SE, a shipyard built in Lemwerder district. The shipyard was built over 100 years ago and has since become one of the most famous in this region of Germany.

Brand new yachts, SWATH-vessels, pilot boats and other types of ships are launched here.
