Norddeich. Resort Beach
The German resort of Norddeich is located on the North Sea coast in the region of the Frisian Islands. The main attraction of the town is its spacious sandy beach. Next to it is a pavilion, Haus des Gastes, which includes a restaurant of East Frisian cuisine, a beer bar, outdoor terraces and a conference room. It is from this pavilion that we can see a panorama of the beach, where many fans of various sports, from windsurfing to beach football and handball, gather.
Tourism in Norddeich began to develop in the first half of the 19th century. It still remains the main source of income for the local population. At the same time, an equally important role in the economy is played by fishing, a traditional industry for this town. With a population of one and a half thousand people, the tourism industry provides for more than 1,000 jobs.
On the beach is the entire tourist infrastructure — playgrounds, restaurants, an outdoor pool, a green lawn, sun beds, a surf school and much more. Please note that the chaise lounges on the Norddeicha beach are made in a retro style and look like armchairs with canopies.
There is a small fee for visiting the beach. An entrance ticket for adults, costs 2.5 euros and a season ticket is only 25 euros.
