In German Oberstdorf, there are three main zones for skiing and snowboarding. We are at the top of one of these zones, which is the closest to the town. The Nebelhornbahn cableway’s 60-seat cabins rise directly from Oberstdorf to a height of 1,930 meters above sea level.

The first lifts appeared here at the beginning of the last century. This funicular has been operating in the resort since 1977. The difference in altitude between the lower and upper stations of this ropeway exceeds one kilometer, so fans of high-speed descents will enjoy the interesting route.

From the station on which the camera is installed, you can go even higher, directly to the top of Nebelhorn. That’s where the most demanding extreme skiing takes place.

The panoramic camera shows us the area around the Nebelhornbahn station and Oberstdorf, which looks like a small village from this height. Next to the station is a mountain hut, Geißalphütte, which can be rented for only € 190 per day (the number of guests is not limited).
