Osterode am Harz. Neustädter Street

Osterode am Harz is a town at the foot of the Harz Mountains. Now we are on the southwest side of the mountain. In the vicinity of the town are the ruins of ancient castles, and several churches of different religious groups can be seen in the city. Catholics, Protestants and Evangelicals live in Osterode am Harz.

To the left, we can see Berufsbildende Schulen I, which is very different from the architecture of the old buildings of the German city. Though not only modern buildings are surprises in Osterode am Harz; for example, Altes town hall looks very unusual, especially considering its age. Under the gable roof are the three floors of the City Hall.

Tourists, who are interested in outdoor activities, can visit the water park ALOHA Aqualand Erlebnisbad, located in the southern part of the city.
