Röttenbach. View of the Village from the old Town Hall

The panorama of the northern part of the Bavarian community of Röttenbach is perfectly visible from the Town Hall. We are looking at village houses, as well as the main attraction of Röttenbach — the Church of St. Maurice.

The Catholic parish was founded in 1850, and since then, it has been reconstructed and restored many times. In 2015, the old pipe organ was replaced with a new one. The church houses the relics of St. Eustathius.

We can see the high tower of the church, built in late Gothic style, in the 15th century. There are also other monuments of architecture in Röttenbach, such as the old two-story house of a forester, with a pointed roof, located at 1 Hauptstraße and built in 1800.

Röttenbach is a small village, so you can see the houses of Hemhofen, another community on the horizon.
