Zaberfeld. Stromberg-Heuchelberg Park. The Ehmetsklinge Lake

This beautiful Ehmetsklinge Lake is the most famous lake in Zaberfeld and its surroundings. It lies in the picturesque Stromberg-Heuchelberg Natural Park and is fed by the River of Zaber, a tributary of the River Neckar. The Ehmetsklinge Lake is a relatively new water reservoir. It was dig out it 1969 and extended in 2001.

Half of the lake is used for fishing. Many visitors come here to spend their time in the beautiful surroundings and catch one or two zanders, carps, trout or lings. Another part of the lake is a natural reserve.
