We are heading to the famous Greek island of Corfu. The camera is installed in one of the northern resorts of the island, the village of Kassiopi. We are looking at the harbor of Kassiopi from the Harbor Bar. We can see yacht piers, restaurants and cafes on the coast, as well as guest villas.

Comfortable villas with access to the beach are for rent, as well as rooms. One of these villas is located on the opposite side of the harbor — Villa Perris Studios. Just behind it is the main attraction of the village — Kassiopi Castle.

The ruins of the once important defensive construction have survived to the present day, from the time of Byzantium. The exact time of the construction of the castle is not known, but during the excavations, ancient coins used at the turn of the 6th˗7th centuries were found. The castle was designed in such a way that it was difficult to capture it with the siege weapons of that time. Up to now, only a small part of the large castle, which was supposed to protect the inhabitants of the island from invasions from the north, has been preserved.

In Kassiopi, tourists can enjoy boat trips and a wide variety of fish dishes in local restaurants, as the village was once famous for its fishing business.
