Dublin. View to Anna Liffey and her Quays from the Building of City Council

View to Liffey and her many bridges and quays from one of the buildings belonging to City Council. Vi are now in the very heart of the Irish capital.

Road bridges, which can be clearly seen from here are Father Mathew Bridge, Mellows Bridge and James Joyce Bridge. One by one, or all together, they make a wonderful view, especially beautifully illuminated in the nighttime.

James Joyce Bridge was built by an internationally renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. This bridge has the name of one of the most famous Irish writers, James Augustine Joyce.

Mellows Bridge is, by the way, Dublin’s oldest surviving bridge (it was built in 1768), an absolute “must see” for every tourist, of course.
