Badia. Piz la Ila

If you like to ski or snowboard on different routes and can quickly change from one type of route to another, then you should pay attention to the Italian resort of Badia. It includes several communities located at the foot of different mountains. Almost all these mountains are built up by cableways, under which the roads are laid.

We are in the very center of the resort on top of Piz la Ila, 2,100 meters above sea level. In addition to the lifts on this mountain, we can see the club-restaurant, Moritzino, and a huge playground which, in the summer months, is constantly occupied by young travellers.

Families with children come to this part of the resort. In the winter, children’s tracks are made here, and in the summer, while children play on the site with climbing walls, trampolines and other things, adults can taste the best Italian dishes and wines on the open terrace, with a magnificent view of the Alpine peaks.

Moritzino Restaurant has been operating for more than 50 years. Now, the updated Piz la Ila cable car, with 15 cabins, leads to it. These booths overcome a two-kilometer distance in five and a half minutes.
