Breuil-Cervinia. Cervino Ski Resort

The Italian ski resort on the border with Switzerland, Cervino, is known for both its excellent trails and its stunning views of the Alpine peaks. You can also see several natural attractions of the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta.

The resort was named after the Matterhorn. Its sharp knife-like peaks can be seen on this panoramic camera, though only the Matterhorn peaks stick out from behind the mountains in the foreground. The highest point of the mountain is around 4,478 meters. Surely, you have seen the image of this mountain on various postcards or in magazines because its memorable pyramidal form has long been a symbol of the Alps.

This camera is installed at the station of the Bec Carre ski lift. Cervino, which includes two ski areas, Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche and Zermatt, has 53 cable cars in total. You can use any of them for one day, at a cost of 40 to 50 euros.
