Brixen. Panorama of the City

The camera, on the slopes of Mount Pascolo is directed toward the town of Bressanone. On the opposite side of the valley, we can see the settlements built on Mount Plose.

If you look closely, on the left side, you can see the high building of Santuario Maria am Sand Church in the Millan area. The painting of Our Lady, which dates back to the fourteenth century, is in the church. This church, in the Gothic style, is a popular place of pilgrimage. In total, the town has more than ten churches, each of which is certainly worth having a look during your visit to Bressanone.

The town, for many years, has been considered a major tourist destination in Italy. In addition to local ski resorts, tourists come here for the sake of interesting hiking trails in the summer months, as well as to get acquainted with the medieval architecture of the town.
