Grado. The Beach. Isola d'Oro
Grado is a charming town in the region of Gorizia. It is located on the Adriatic Sea, between the cities of Venice and Trieste. Grado occupies an island and adjacent peninsula and is very often being referred as “Isola d’Oro”, in English — “Golden Island”. Local beaches are very clear and have been constantly awarded with a “blue flag” for their ecology.
The town of Grado is a very popular destination among families with children thanks to the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea together and perfectly developed service and infrastructure (babysitter service and well-equipped playgrounds, which can be found all around the island).
Grado and its stunning sunsets and sea views attract many people from the surrounding cities of Trieste, Venice and Udine.
