Madonna di Campiglio. Pradalago Lift Station
The Italian resort of Madonna di Campiglio offers holidaymakers ski slopes of varying complexity. They are on different sides of the village.
This camera is installed on the western ski slopes, near the mountain hut, Rifugio Viviani Pradalago. If you see a large house with a terrace on which tourists are dining, that is the mountain hut. It was opened in 1969, near the mountain lake, and meets holidaymakers in both summer and winter.
You can stay in the hut for the night, so you can start skiing early in the morning. It costs 40 euros, which includes a hearty breakfast in the restaurant.
We are looking at the western slopes of the resort from the Pradalago Express lift station. It connects the municipality of Madonna di Campiglio with snowy slopes that are perfect for beginners. The difference in altitude is about 550 meters, with a slight bias and wide trails, everything contributes to the development of mountain skiing and snowboarding.
