Ponza Island. Cala Feola and Palmarola

This webcam is situated on a charming Italian island of Ponza. The island is a popular tourist destination for foreigners, as well as for the Italians.

It is still unknown, how we should understand the name of the island. Currently, there are two existing versions. According to the first one, the island owes its name to the family of Pontius Pilate. The second theory says, that Ponza means “Land of Bridges”. Indeed, the island has many beautiful natural arches and natural bridges.

When the question comes to the local points of interest, we should mention the Botanical Garden, Chiaia di Luna (in English “Moon Gravel Beach”, the most popular beach at Ponza) and island’s numberless beautiful caves and natural arches.
