Grawand is a huge mountain in the Ötztal Alps. Its height reaches 3,251 meters above sea level. The camera is installed at one of the upper stations of the ski resort, Val Senales. We are only 250 meters below the top of Grawand.

Since Grawand is also a glacier, you can ride in this resort from October to May. The ski routes of Grawand, although considered an Italian territory, will, from time to time, cause you to call in on the territory of Austria, as the state border runs just below the Grawand station. All lifts of the resort have a single ski pass, which costs about 45 euros.

The only problem at such high altitudes is strong winds, which, periodically, will literally blow skiers and snowboarders off course.

You can get closer to the top using the Grawand cableway, which not only gives you direct access to the peak of the mountain but also to Glacier Hotel Grawand.
