Tremosine. City Panorama

Tremosine is a town on the coast of the largest Italian lake, Lake Garda. It is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy (according to the association I borghi più belli d’Italia), due to the fact that all buildings are built on the slope of the mountain and perfectly fit into the natural panorama of these places.

The town’s altitude varies from 65 to 1,976 meters above sea level! To visit friends or a grocery store at the other end of the slope is not so easy for local residents, therefore the town is divided into districts, each of which has everything necessary for life — shops, its municipality, cafes and restaurants, as well as other infrastructure.

Due to its proximity to the shore of the lake, Tremosine has a very mild climate with warm winters and soulless summers. These conditions favorably influence the development of Mediterranean vegetation, which forms entire parks and valleys between the mountains.
