Boating, cycling, open air natural baths heated by the volcano, swimming in the lake — this is an incomplete range of entertainment on Kawaguchi.

A sightseeing bus, in a retro style, goes around the lake and those who are not in a hurry and prefer to see every corner personally, can walk round the lake in four hours. You can get to the other side of Kawaguchi over Ohashi Bridge. Huge spiky clumps of cooled lava peek out of the water at some places and form the lake shoreline in less touristy parts. Picnic tables are installed on some of these volcanic pedestals.
